Sunny San Diego!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in San Diego! The whole crew was there which was such a treat! We played in the pool, on the beach, in the kayaks, around town and in the house. Needless to say... Addy was in heaven! She LOVES the water, which is good news since I think we were going to force her to spend a lot of time in it anyway. She kicked for 20 straight minutes in the pool (and never shut her mouth) because she was so excited. It was freezing in the ocean but she couldn't get enough of the waves. In fact, you can see in the pictures below that she was lunging toward the waves.

We have to agree with Leigh on this one....they look like they've morphed into a couple of Mike Teevee's

.....And Leigh Ann has some really cute pictures of the babies at the house in Coronado. I think Addy and Chloe really are BFF.

What a Mess!!

What would Easter be without dying Easter eggs!?!?

I have to say, I think Addy was somewhat unsure about the process at first.  Then, she decided to roll up her sleeves and go at it.  After a couple of eggs, she decided to do it her own way!  She dumped the eggs in, tried to fish them out but when she couldn't, she decided to just dump the cup of dye over.  Luckily, between G-Ma and I, we were quicker than her.

She spent a lot of time mezmerized with what was going on around her.  When her hands changed color, she just stared in awe.

It was at this moment that the green dye was dumped over.

I think her hands are just now back to the right color.

Easter!!

We had a great time at Easter.  Addy watched an easter egg hunt (luckily Maile came over so she was able to hunt easter eggs since as we all know, Addy can't walk yet, and crawling on rocks isn't that great).  

And she got a GREAT new chair!  She loves it.
